“Backlot 30,” Film Cincinnati’s celebration of its first three decades, was such a hit last year that we decided to bring it back this year! Hundreds joined us for the street party featuring Emilio Estevez, Rhymefest and a host of Film Cincinnati supporters in a street setting made to look like the back lot of an on-location film shoot.

If you missed the fun last year, or even if you want to do it again, save the date for Saturday, September 8, when we’ll mark 31 years of major motion pictures made in Cincinnati. Where? Well, that’s a secret for now—but we promise it’ll be a one-of-a-kind venue for a one-of-a-kind party. As we get closer, we’ll have clues on the location, so follow our Facebook page for details on where this year’s Backlot will take place.

And now’s the time to get your tickets, while Early Bird prices are in effect: From now until the end of July, tickets are $60 and $160 (they’ll go up to $75 and $175 August 1).

The $60 ticket includes a walk on the red carpet, food, entertainment and cash bar. The $160 ticket includes early entrance, red carpet, food, entertainment, two drink tickets, and access to the VIP lounge. And you never know what special guests may be in town to mingle with the Film Cincinnati crowd!
