Help those in our production community reeling from the impact of jobs lost due to the Coronavirus by purchasing merchandise from the Film Cincinnati website or making an online donation in the denomination of your choosing. The majority of proceeds and donations will go towards purchasing $50 gift cards for our outstanding Cincinnati crew in an effort to help them through this difficult time.
The demand for emergency relief has increased 20% from crew members. These are people responsible for bringing cinema magic to the silver screen and most of whom will never walk a red carpet. The movies you love are thanks to hard-working Americans. Productions in TV and film have halted due to the Coronavirus, and many of the people hurting the most are below-the-line workers behind the camera. These are people who lack contractual safety nets including- production assistants, hairdressers, locations teams, electricians, prop masters, grips, makeup artists, set decorators, gaffers, carpenters, script supervisors, teamsters, and the list goes on. Please support these skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen who are in our community and make movies come to life in our city.

Film Cincinnati has raised thousands of dollars in merchandise sales. Thank you for purchasing and allowing us the opportunity to help our amazing production community. Thanks to your generous donations we were able to leverage funding from a few thousand dollars for $50 gift cards and turn it into $30,000 of donations. The Haile Foundation, McLane Foundation, Kroger, and The Greater Cincinnati Foundation saw the want and need to help our amazing production community and came together to do something about it. Thanks to the tremendous, generous support of local foundations gift cards have increased to $100.
How to Win:
The prize is $100 Kroger gift cards. Locals from crew lists of recent films will be placed in the pool, but all local crew with a minimum of two credits are eligible. Reach out to Tassy@filmcincinnati.com with questions.
There will be a random drawing every Monday of May. Winners will be notified via email. You have one week to claim your prize before it goes back into the pot. If you are not the winner, don’t worry, your name stays in the running until all gift cards are claimed.
How to Donate:
If you’d like to keep the momentum going, purchase some Film Cincinnati swag, or you can contribute the denomination of your choosing on our donation page. The majority of proceeds from merchandise and online donations, from April 13, 2020, until June 1, 2020, will go towards supporting our crew.
We prefer for items to be picked up from the Film Cincinnati office (1106 Race St.) at the end of social distancing to maximize proceeds going to crew. However, if you prefer to have your Film Cincinnati swag shipped, please, fill out the form below.

Thank you for your patience in receiving your item. We appreciate your willingness to negate shipping.
During the first week of June from 9:00-5:00, we encourage you to come to the Film Cincinnati office and pick up your merchandise. Film Cincinnati is located downtown at 1106 Race St. 45202. Please buzz up and Tassy Taylor will come down to meet you outside and deliver your items. Should this time frame not work for you please email her to schedule an alternative appointment.
Thank you again for helping Cincinnati crew who have been heavily, negatively impacted by the disruption of the Coronavirus. Merchandise sales helped us raise thousands of dollars. In return, we were able to flip that into $30,000 with funding from the McLane Foundation, Haile Foundation, Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and Kroger.
