Members come from Cincinnati Children’s, The Kroger Company and P&G
CINCINNATI (For Immediate Release) -- Film Cincinnati today announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors, including De Asa Nichols from Cincinnati Children's, Sean Parker of The Kroger Company and Jacqueline Aguilar of Procter & Gamble.
Nichols is the supplier diversity manager at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Previously, she served as president and CEO of the Greater Cincinnati African American Chamber of Commerce. She holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Xavier University.
“Film Cincinnati has done an amazing job of attracting great productions to our city. I am looking forward to working with my fellow board members and our community partners to have an even greater economic impact with an intentional focus on diversity, inclusion and equity within the film industry,” said Nichols.
Parker is the head of financial communications at The Kroger Co. Before joining Kroger, Parker served as vice president and public relations director for Fifth Third Bancorp. A graduate of Howard University, he also spent nearly a decade in external relations at P&G, specializing in corporate and media relations.
“As a regular moviegoer and supporter of all things Cincinnati, I’m excited to join Film Cincinnati to help advance their mission to support the continued growth of local film production,” said Parker.
Aguilar serves as in-house counsel at P&G in the Global Ethics and Compliance Office. She earned her business degree at Xavier University, summa cum laude, and her law degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to law school, Aguilar worked for two publicly-traded global companies, Convergys and Toyota Motor North America, in Human Resources, Diversity & Inclusion, and Compliance.
“I am looking forward to helping Film Cincinnati continue to promote and develop the film industry within the Cincinnati region as well as bring a positive economic impact to our community,” said Aguilar.
"We are so honored to have these three community leaders on our board," said Kristen Schlotman, executive director of Film Cincinnati. "Partners like these are why Film Cincinnati continues to be a top destination for film makers from around the world."
